Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American actor and singer from the United States. Her most well-known role was her role as Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012) as well as Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). She also played the lead part of Jerrica Jem Benton on the film Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples' parents Wendy & Ashley raised her within Lake Mary Florida. There is also an older sister, Ally. While growing up Aubrey was a part of the Orlando Repertory Theatre for ten years. Her graduation from Lake Mary Preparatory School was as valedictory address of class 2012. Harvard University accepted her but was able to enter twice after which she accepted the role she played in Nashville. Peeples appeared in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and had regular roles in Necessary Roughness (1991). The actress was also in two television-based films, Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009 and The Good Mother). She had a major part in the role of Layla Grant on the Nashville Drama in the second season. Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder during an interview in 2019 in NKD Magazine. Indiewire identified Peeples among the top performers under the age of twenty old in September 2014.
